Plans to build a new Church are underway! The goal is to raise $2.5 million to build the $2.3 million church. The Diocese of Tucson is looking into buying 20 acres of land to house the church in Maricopa.

The parish plans to build an initial 500-seat church within the next 24 months. The church, over time, will be expanded to 1,500 and will eventually house a K-8 Catholic school.

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Parish will celebrate their anniversary, as the church will host its 3rd Annual Community Festival and Carnival during Sat and Sun Jan. 29-31 2010.

Our Lady of Grace first Pastor. Fr. Marcos C. Velasquez leadership has really help grow the church, focusing on the parishioners and community outreach. The festival is the church’s largest fundraising event to support those efforts for their new building.
